Bring Tjati to Claude Code.
Keep the reason for the code close to the code. Read your Tjati project from Claude Code, propose the next tasks, and capture follow-ups before you leave the terminal.
Connect Claude CodeHow to connect Claude Code to Tjati
Connect your Tjati account to Claude Code. Sign in with OAuth, choose what your assistant can access, and start with a read-only request.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user tjati https://api.tjati.com/mcpSetup instructions
- Run the command below to add Tjati as a user-scoped remote HTTP MCP server.
- Open /mcp in Claude Code, select Tjati, and complete sign-in in the browser.
- Grant the smallest scope set needed for the repository workflow.
- Inspect the MCP connection, then run a read-only Tjati tool before allowing writes.
Official client documentation supports this command. End-to-end compatibility soak remains a publish gate.

Project context, inside your coding session.
Example requests to try after you verify the connection. Your granted scopes determine which tools are available.
- 01
Read before you build
Connect the implementation to the outcome the project serves.
“Read the Tjati project for this repository. Summarize its goal and open tasks before proposing an implementation.”
- 02
Scope the next change
Keep a coding session aligned with the work you intended to do.
“Compare this implementation plan with my Tjati tasks. Propose a small, reviewable next step and flag any missing decisions.”
- 03
Keep the follow-ups
Carry unfinished work out of the terminal without losing its context.
“Capture the follow-ups from this code review in Tjati. Propose links to the release project and let me review the task changes.”
Before you connect
Claude Code + Tjati, explained.
- What is the Claude Code MCP command for Tjati?
- Run claude mcp add --transport http --scope user tjati https://api.tjati.com/mcp. Then open /mcp in Claude Code, select Tjati, and complete OAuth.
- Will this configuration be committed to my repository?
- The command on this page uses user scope. Do not put personal access tokens or OAuth credentials into a repository. Review Claude Code’s configuration before sharing project settings.
- Can Claude Code mark every task complete automatically?
- Only granted tools and scopes are available, and a completed code change does not by itself prove a Tjati task is complete. Ask for a proposed update and review it before execution.
